Biostatistician - Health Economics Research Specialist

We're seeking a skilled Biostatistician to collaborate with our cross-functional team at AIP Connect. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in biostatistics and proficiency in statistical programming using SAS and/or R.
In this role, you will utilize real-world data to generate hypotheses and conduct analysis, as well as generate value propositions using data sets. This opportunity is for you if you're looking for a small organization where you can play a big role in the design and analysis of studies that inform healthcare decision-making and contribute to the development of innovative solutions for our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement HEOR studies for tier one pharmaceutical companies.
- Conduct statistical analyses to derive insights from complex healthcare databases, ensuring accuracy and relevance to client objectives.
- Write statistical code and collaborate across projects on results auditing.
- Communicate findings through comprehensive reports and presentations, translating complex statistical concepts into actionable recommendations for clients.
- Reference EMR and claims databases and work with data vendors.
- Master's or PhD in Biostatistics, Statistics, Epidemiology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in biostatistics within the HEOR or pharmaceutical industry, or a relevant industry.
- Proficiency in statistical programming languages including SAS and R; experience with other programming tools (e.g., Python, Stata) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of statistical methodologies and their applications in health economics and outcomes research.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate findings effectively.
- Strong communication skills, entrepreneurial spirit, and an openness to out-of-the-box creative problem-solving.
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) databases and claims databases is preferred.
We're open to remote work in Canada, ideally within the EST time zone.
