At Alberta Inc., we are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in preparing dough for various baked goods, as well as requisitioning and ordering materials and equipment. The successful candidate will be responsible for baking mixed dough and batters, training staff in food preparation and handling, and supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff. Additionally, the Bakery Specialist will be responsible for ensuring the quality of products meets established standards and inspecting kitchen and food service areas.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in baking and pastry arts, with experience in preparing desserts and pastries. They will also possess excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as strong judgement and reliability. The ideal candidate will be a team player who is able to work well in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparing dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods
  • Requisitioning and ordering materials and equipment
  • Baking mixed dough and batters
  • Training staff in food preparation and handling
  • Supervising baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Ensuring the quality of products meets established standards
