We are seeking a skilled Bakery Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our bakery team, you will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders. Your expertise will ensure the quality of our baked goods meets the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare dough, batters, and icings according to recipes or special customer orders
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
  • Bake mixed dough and batters
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Prepare special orders
  • Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff
  • Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods
  • Draw up production schedules
  • Ensure the quality of products meets established standards
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas
  • Operate machinery
  • Organize and maintain inventory
  • Oversee sales and merchandising of baked goods

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a bakery or related field
  • Permanent employment
  • English as the primary language of work
  • 35 hours per week
