At SOTA, we are seeking a highly skilled Architectural Design and Technical Specialist to join our team. In this exciting role, you will play a vital part in the success of our company by utilizing your technical expertise to create innovative architectural designs.
About the RoleThis position involves working closely with our architects and engineers to design and develop building projects from concept to completion. You will be responsible for creating detailed 3D models using computer-aided design (CAD) software, as well as drafting precise two-dimensional drawings. Additionally, you will assist in supervising construction projects, prepare proposals, and analyze technical documents and reports.
Key Responsibilities- Create three-dimensional (3-D) models with computer-aided design (CAD)
- Create two-dimensional (2-D) drawings with computer-aided design (CAD)
- Prepare proposals
- Analyze technical documents and reports
- Tender contracts
- Assist in supervising construction projects
- Prepare working drawings
- Supervise architectural technical staff
- Write specifications
- Monitor and inspect work
- Estimate costs and materials
- Construct architectural and display models
- Assist in design development
- Prepare presentation graphics and drawings
- Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings and specifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to have:
- A college or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field, such as architecture or engineering
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role
We offer a competitive salary, ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 per year, depending on experience. Additional benefits include:
