About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Solutions Architect to join our team at BQ INTERNATIONAL LTD. as a key member of our Solutions & Architecture team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead solution evaluation and technical leadership on PDO projects, representing Information Systems.
  • Ensure solutions align with enterprise strategies and focus on business outcomes.
  • Develop non-functional and technical specifications for solution RFP documents.
  • Oversee technical resources to deliver solutions and work with project teams to develop conceptual architecture design.
  • Provide assistance and mentorship as required.
Requirements
  • Experience leading solution selection, design, and implementation as part of a project team.
  • Practical experience communicating technical concepts to business and project teams.
  • Experience working closely with business to solve technical and process problems.
  • Experience working in a utility or engineering industry.
  • Experience with project management and change management methodologies.
  • Demonstrated experience with multiple architecture methodologies and ability to compare them.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of a wide variety of technologies and how they are implemented.
Preferred Qualifications
  • TOGAF 8 or higher certification.
  • North American job experience.
  • Completion of formal training courses in soft skills and project management.
