Janitorial Services Manager

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Manager to join our team at JPR123 Cleaning/Cooking/Painting LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our janitorial services, ensuring that our facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Key Responsibilities- Operations Management: Evaluate daily operations, plan and organize daily tasks, and ensure that all janitorial services are completed to a high standard.
- Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns, and provide excellent customer service to our clients.
- Team Supervision: Supervise a team of 3-4 janitorial staff, providing guidance and support to ensure that they are meeting their responsibilities.
- Security and Safety: Ensure that all staff are bondable, have a basic security clearance, and undergo a criminal record check, driver's validity licence check, and driving record check (abstract).
- Transportation and Travel: Ensure that all staff have a valid driver's licence and are eligible for professional liability insurance.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ensure that all staff are physically capable of performing the duties of the job, and are able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Ensure that all staff have excellent oral and written communication skills, are reliable, and are able to work as part of a team.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a janitorial services role.
- Certifications: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks and other 2-axle vehicles).

- Support for Mature Workers: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports mature workers, applies hiring policies that discourage age discrimination, provides staff with awareness training, offers mentorship, coaching and/or networking opportunities for mature workers, offers phased re-entry options for mature workers who are returning to work after retiring, provides workspace accommodations, and offers resources to help mature workers plan their retirement.
- Supports for Visible Minorities: Participates in a government or community program or initiative that supports members of visible minorities, applies hiring policies that discourage discrimination against members of visible minorities, offers mentorship programs that pair members of visible minorities with experienced employees, and provides diversity and cross-cultural training to create a welcoming work environment for members of visible minorities.
