Carpentry Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team at West Wood Framing Ltd. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of workmanship in the construction of residential and commercial buildings.
Key Responsibilities- Pre-construction: Prepare layouts in accordance with building codes, using measuring tools to ensure accuracy and precision.
- On-site work: Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials to construct foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems.
- Finishing work: Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware to ensure a smooth and professional finish.
- Maintenance and repair: Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various settings, including mills, mines, hospitals, industrial plants, and other establishments.
- The role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking, with a physically demanding workload.
- Steel-toed safety boots are required for on-site work.
- Permanent full-time position
- 40 hours per week
