Job Overview
Sram Corporation seeks an experienced Technical Field Guide to promote SRAM products and drive sales outcomes in the region. This role requires providing technical sales support, training, and product knowledge to retailers, distributors, and industry partners.

The successful candidate will be responsible for stimulating sales growth through value-added sales approaches, integrating technical support into sales and training, and establishing relationships with distributors and OE partners. Additionally, they will provide technical support to retailers and industry partners on new and existing products, stay informed of sales trends, and work within SRAM's CRM solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical sales support to Retailers, Distributors, and Riders covering all SRAM brands and products.
- Stimulate sales growth using a value-added sales approach with key retailers.
- Integrate technical support into sales and training while keeping regional and corporate priorities in mind; with guidance from the main technical field guides and the regional field guide manager.
- Establish relationships with our distributors' representatives and OE partners to ensure that training is implemented and executed at retail in a cost-effective manner for sales staff and technicians.
- Provide technical support to retailers and industry partners on new and existing products.
- Stay informed of sales, market trends, and opportunities by assessing sales dashboards, regional performance, sales programs, and market insights.
- Understand SRAM's direct sales programs in the market, DI programs, and those of competitors to leverage the SRAM brand family with customers.
- Work within SRAM's CRM solutions and keep information updated while communicating monthly KPI metrics reports to support management's sales forecasts and identify new market opportunities.

Requirements
- 5 years of experience in the bicycle industry.
- 3 years of experience in a technical or hands-on role, and/or in retail sales.
- Valid driver's license.
- Must be currently located or willing to relocate to a metropolitan area in Ontario (Greater Toronto Area or Ottawa) or Quebec (Montreal or Quebec City).
- Must be bilingual in English and French (written/oral).
- Must have a private and secure workshop of at least 3 meters x 3 meters.
- Ability to travel an average of 25% of the year.
- Strong customer service skills and professionalism.
- Strong understanding of technical products and services, with the ability to communicate and present technical concepts and procedures to technical and non-technical audiences in writing, orally, and live before an audience.
- Ability to adapt and solve problems quickly in the face of a constantly changing market and product requirements.
- Ability to establish cross-functional partnerships, both internally and externally.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a team.
- Ability to solicit and provide feedback to customers and colleagues.
- Passion for cycling and knowledge of bike shop operations and products.
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
