Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team at Leclerc Ltd. As an Accounts Receivable Specialist, you will play a critical role in managing our company's accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate processing of customer payments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Follow-up and Communication
    • Follow up with customers to resolve any discrepancies or issues related to their accounts.
    • Communicate with customers to ensure timely payment of outstanding balances.
  • Account Analysis and Verification
    • Analyze customer contracts and agreements to ensure accurate processing of payments.
    • Verify customer information and account details to prevent errors.
  • Payment Processing and Data Entry
    • Process customer payments in a timely and accurate manner.
    • Enter payment data into our system to ensure accurate record-keeping.
  • General Ledger and Accounting
    • Ensure proper posting of payments to general ledger accounts.
    • Reconcile accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Support to Sales Team
    • Provide support to the sales team as needed to ensure seamless customer service.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • DEC in administration, accounting, or finance, or equivalent work experience.
    • 2 years of experience in a similar position.
  • Skills and Abilities
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Proficiency in Office automation tools, especially Excel spreadsheets.
    • Knowledge of SAP and/or Vistex is an asset.
    • Knowledge of the food industry deduction practices is an asset.
