About the Role

The Facility Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing site and trade workers, including all aspects of building or facility maintenance in accordance with contract specifications. This role requires strong leadership and communication skills, as well as the ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Schedule and Supervise Onsite Staff
    • Manage the scheduling and supervision of onsite staff and subcontracted personnel to ensure tasks are completed in accordance with contract requirements.
  • Interface with Customers
    • Communicate effectively with internal and external customers to ensure effective communication regarding status and priority of work.
  • Manage Site Coordination
    • Coordinate site activities for facility projects, including construction and renovation commencement and completion dates, contractor and consultant site visits, staff relocation, and equipment relocation.
  • Coordinate Materials and Supplies
    • Order and stock materials and supplies in accordance with contract specifications.
  • Support Administrative Staff
    • Provide support to administrative staff in the day-to-day processing of related contract paperwork, including Work Orders, Invoices, Proposals, and Purchase Orders.
  • Ensure Facility Operations and Maintenance
    • Ensure all facility operation and equipment maintenance manuals are available and up to date.
  • Review and Approve Expenditures
    • Review and approve all expenditures for materials and supplies.
  • Assist with Reports
    • Assist with monthly reports related to facility maintenance and operating budgets.
  • Recommend Training
    • Recommend and oversee training requirements for FMO employees.
  • Ensure Health and Safety Programs
    • Ensure all required environmental, health, and safety programs are implemented as per Health & Safety Plan.
  • Perform Facility Inspections
    • Perform periodic facility inspections as necessary.
  • Ensure Quality Assurance
    • Ensure quality assurance inspections are completed as per Quality Assurance Plan.
