Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Purchasing Specialist to join our team at MTU Maintenance Canada Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing general and specialized equipment, materials, and business services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Purchase equipment, materials, and supplies in accordance with company specifications and requirements.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and quality of goods.
  • Review and analyze quotations to determine the best value for the company.
  • Monitor and manage delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of goods.
  • Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics to ensure efficient and effective supply chain management.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, SAP, and MS Excel.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with a team of professionals. The work environment is English-speaking, and the successful candidate will be required to communicate effectively in English.
