Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) drives impactful results for Visa's network clients, leveraging expertise in strategy consulting, data analytics, and operational economics. The US Consulting Practice within VCA provides consulting and solution services for Visa's largest issuers in the United States, applying deep expertise in the payments industry to deliver solutions that address unique challenges.
The VCA team is seeking a Director to join our consulting practice and develop high-impact projects for Visa's clients in the North America region. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering and implementing projects and solutions with Merchants & Co-Brand Partners, promoting sustainable and profitable growth, and ensuring Visa is the preferred brand and unique business partner.

Essential Functions:
- Engage with Visa MSS teams in strategic discussions, cultivate and manage a pipeline of work with merchants and co-brand partners.
- Lead consulting initiatives and contribute to closing engagements by identifying opportunities with Merchants & Co-Brand Partners.
- Develop frameworks, approaches, solutions, and recommendations to address impactful opportunities and challenges.
- Build solutions and actionable insights to help clients grow their portfolios and merchant engagement in their core business.
- Partner with peers in functional areas and global regional teams to execute projects, leveraging Visa's resources.
- Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, and drive understanding of client issues.
- Ability to manipulate and analyze large data sets to determine meaningful insights and recommendations for clients.
- Build new scalable solutions, toolkits, best practice documents, and consulting approaches that can be applied across VCA practice.
Incumbents applying for the role should be self-motivated, highly energized, detail-oriented individuals who will deliver strategic thought leadership, problem diagnostics, and high-impact solutions to clients to support growth and performance. Candidates must be able to develop enduring, strategic relationships with internal and external clients and across the Visa organization. This is a hybrid position, with employees alternating between remote and office work, with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters/MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
Preferred Qualifications:
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD.
5+ years of relevant experience at a large management consulting firm or as a leader of large Co-brand portfolios.
Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance. Significant focus on impacting ROI.
Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
Self-motivated, results-oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and/or payment schemes, including products & services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card acquiring experience.
Excellent communication, story-telling, and presentation skills.
Team-minded with a technology mindset, curious, and up-to-date with digital trends and applications.
