About the Role

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled psychologist to join our team in the Communication, Learning and Behaviour Service. As a developmental assessment specialist, you will work with children and youth under the age of 18 years six months to provide comprehensive assessments and support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct developmental assessments for children and youth, providing feedback and consultation to clients and families.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide client-centred care, focusing on maximizing strengths and promoting positive outcomes.
  • Develop and implement evidence-based interventions, working closely with clients and families to set goals and track progress.
  • Contribute to the development of program activities, ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives, supporting the maintenance of a culture of client/patient safety.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Psychology, with declared competencies in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents.
  • Current Registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) required.
  • Previous job-related experience working with children and families, as well as clients with autism, neurological conditions, and developmental disabilities.
  • Extensive experience with ADOS-2 administration, scoring, and interpretation, with reliability considered an asset.
