About the Role

Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital is seeking a skilled psychologist to join our team in the Communication, Learning and Behaviour Service. As a developmental assessment specialist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality care to children and youth with complex needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive developmental assessments for children and youth under the age of 18 years six months.
  • Provide feedback, consultation, and education to clients and families to maximize strengths and promote optimal outcomes.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver client and family-centred care that is goal-oriented, evidence-based, and outcome-focused.
  • Contribute to the development of program and service activities that promote quality improvement and excellence in care.
  • Engage in research and evidence-based practice to inform clinical decision-making and improve outcomes.
  • Provide education and training to clients, families, and colleagues to promote knowledge and skills in developmental assessment and intervention.
Qualifications
  • Ph.D. in Psychology with declared competencies in Clinical Psychology with children and adolescents.
  • Current registration with the College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario (CPBAO) required.
  • Previous experience working with children and families, particularly those with autism, neurological conditions, and developmental disabilities.
  • Extensive experience with ADOS-2 administration, scoring, and interpretation is essential.
