Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Floor Covering Specialist to join our team at Lovely Renovation Toronto. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for ensuring the successful installation of floor coverings in residential and commercial settings across the Toronto area.

About the Job

This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. You will be responsible for inspecting surfaces, measuring and marking areas, installing carpeting and resilient floor coverings, repairing damaged floor coverings, and preparing floors for installations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and measure surfaces to determine the best course of action for installation
  • Install carpeting and resilient floor coverings, ensuring a high level of quality and customer satisfaction
  • Repair damaged floor coverings, restoring them to their original condition
  • Remove existing floor coverings and contaminants, preparing the surface for new installations
  • Prepare floors for installations, including cleaning and ensuring they are free from debris
  • Operate equipment to stretch carpeting, ensuring a smooth and even finish
Work Environment

This role involves on-site customer service, working in various locations across the Toronto area. You may encounter odours, dust, and physically demanding situations, including handling heavy loads and bending. It is essential to have colour distinction, hand-eye coordination, and physical capabilities such as bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Estimated Salary Range

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
