At SUBWAY SANDWICHES & SALADS, we are seeking a skilled Shift Manager to join our team. As a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules to ensure adequate staffing levels and meet business needs.
  • Requisition Food and Supplies: Order and manage inventory of food, beverages, and supplies to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Supervise Food Preparation: Oversee the preparation and presentation of food, ensuring that it meets our high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Provide training and coaching to staff members to enhance their skills and knowledge, and support their career development.
  • Manage Budget and Cost Estimates: Prepare and manage budgets, and estimate costs to ensure that we are operating efficiently and effectively.
  • Address Customer Concerns: Respond to customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Maintain Records: Maintain accurate records of sales, inventory, and other key performance indicators.
Requirements:
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 35 hours per week.
