Pharmacy Assistant Professional

At Innomar Strategies, we are seeking a highly skilled and organized Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our pharmacists and technicians in providing exceptional patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist pharmacists and technicians in filling prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Provide excellent customer service to patients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
- Enter, scan, and process prescriptions using our Kroll Pharmacy software, maintaining accurate records and data.
- Verify that customers receive the correct prescriptions, ensuring their safety and satisfaction.
- Contribute to a smooth workflow by prioritizing tasks, working effectively with the team, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
- Answer phone calls, respond to internal and external inquiries, and screen calls for pharmacists.
- Order, receive, and maintain inventory of medications, ensuring timely restocking and minimizing waste.
- Prepare and process billings, claims, disbursements, and related documents, reviewing invoices and other documentation for accuracy.
- Pack and ship prescription orders according to established protocols, ensuring timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate pharmacy records, reporting any adverse events in accordance with provincial regulatory standards and internal obligations.
- Perform general housekeeping and administrative duties as required, supporting the overall efficiency of the pharmacy.
- High school diploma or equivalent, with pharmacy experience an asset.
- Proficiency in Kroll Pharmacy software and Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel) is preferred.
- Excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills, with attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Bilingualism (French/English) is an asset, as is previous experience in cold-chain distribution and biological/sterile preparation.
