Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Sudbury office on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Traveling to client sites, attending project meetings, and conducting field reviews
  • Developing advanced techniques and concepts in Mechanical Engineering
  • Creating conceptual designs, preliminary designs, and detailed designs deliverables, including calculations, layouts, and sketches, drawings, and technical specifications
  • Performing design review or design verification on technical documents prepared by others
  • Ensuring quality and consistency, accuracy, and completeness of engineering deliverables
  • Managing projects, delivering on-time and on-budget
Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university or college
  • 5 to 15 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in the industrial and/or mining sectors
  • Ability to attend industrial sites and observe all applicable safety regulations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with knowledge of the Microsoft suite of programs
