Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Automotive Technician to join our team at Thomas L Swaine Limited. As an Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing mechanical units, adjusting and repairing or replacing parts and components, and testing and adjusting repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of automotive systems
  • Repair or replace mechanical units or components
  • Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer's specifications
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service
  • Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
  • Complete reports to record problems and work performed
  • Provide customer service
Requirements
  • Registered Apprenticeship certificate
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
  • Valid driver's licence
  • Own transportation
Work Environment

This is a fast-paced environment that requires hand-eye co-ordination, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently. You will be required to wear steel-toed safety boots and use tools to perform your duties.
