Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Financial Strategist to join our team at Forge Consulting Group. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in developing and implementing our financial strategy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Planning and Analysis
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets to drive business growth and profitability.
    • Provide financial analysis and insights to inform business decisions.
  • Financial Operations Management
    • Oversee all fiscal and fiduciary responsibilities for the organization.
    • Ensure compliance with local, provincial, and federal budgetary reporting requirements.
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Lead and manage a team of financial professionals to achieve business objectives.
    • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
  • Strategic Partnerships
    • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including the Board of Directors, CEO, and other senior leaders.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.
Requirements
  • Education
    • University degree in Finance or Accounting.
    • MBA or Master's degree in Finance or Accounting preferred.
  • Experience
    • 7-10 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
    • Minimum of 5 years of management experience.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • CPA preferred.
    • Experience in strategic planning and execution.
    • Knowledge of contracting, negotiating, and change management.
    • Knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and cost control principles.
    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Strong leadership and managerial skills.
    • Ability to motivate teams to produce quality materials within tight timeframes.
