We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Director of Care to join our team at All Seniors Care Living Centres. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for the coordination and implementation of resident care, ensuring a high quality of life for each individual resident.
Key Responsibilities:- Plan, direct, and coordinate the overall program for residents, ensuring that their needs are met and their rights are respected.
- Meet with residents and their families to resolve problems, concerns, and complaints, and to review suggestions on a needs basis.
- Maintain contact with residents to ensure a high quality of care, and to identify areas for improvement.
- Work in cooperation with the Executive Director to hire, direct, train, and schedule nursing personnel, and to reprimand, suspend, or recommend discharge of employees as necessary.
- Complete required monthly reports for both the Executive Director and Senior Management, and to maintain accurate records of resident care.
- Be responsible for the control and safekeeping of drugs and narcotics, and to supervise the drug administration program, where applicable, including the administration of medication by all registered staff.
