Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabrication Labourer to join our team at Carriere Industrial Supply Limited. As a Metal Fabrication Labourer, you will be responsible for operating metal cleaning equipment, transporting items throughout the plant, and assisting structural steel and platework fitters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate metal cleaning equipment to remove excess welds, rust, scale, and other materials from metal products.
  • Transport items throughout the plant using powered equipment.
  • Transport raw materials, finished products, and equipment throughout the plant manually.
  • Assist structural steel and platework fitters, sheet metal workers, metal machine operators, or other metal workers.
  • Clean machines and immediate work areas.
  • Load and unload vehicles.
Work Environment

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing for extended periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling. You will be working in a fast-paced environment with a team of skilled metal workers.

Requirements
  • Experience in metal fabrication or a related field is an asset.
  • Ability to lift up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Flexibility, reliability, and a team player attitude.
  • Punctuality and analytical skills.
