About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mechanic - Car Repair Specialist to join our team at Harrington's VW / Audi. As a key member of our service department, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing complex issues with our customers' vehicles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and repair engine problems using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
  • Work with customers to understand their vehicle issues and provide clear explanations of the repair process.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical developments and manufacturer recommendations.
Requirements
  • Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification or equivalent.
  • Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate or equivalent.
  • Driver's Licence (Class 2 or B or C) or equivalent.
  • Driver's License (Class 3 or D) or equivalent.
  • Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate or equivalent.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Pre-apprenticeship training or equivalent.
  • Level one apprenticeship training or equivalent.
  • Level two apprenticeship training or equivalent.
  • Level three apprenticeship training or equivalent.
  • Level four apprenticeship training or equivalent.
  • Level five apprenticeship training or equivalent.
