Lorex Technology Job Description

We are seeking a talented Marketing Specialist to join our team at Lorex Technology. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for planning, implementing, and executing product launch marketing activities.

This role will involve working closely with our product team to develop marketing product briefs, assist with creative development, and coordinate with various departments to ensure successful product launches.

Key Responsibilities

Product Marketing:

  • Develop marketing product briefs and assist with creative development, including content, marketing materials, and key messaging
  • Work cross-functionally with other departments for product testing, usability, and information development for marketing material and written usability analysis
  • Identify unique product offerings and lead marketing direction for product launches and creative
  • Assign and manage marketing projects in collaboration with Graphic Designers, Video Production Artists, Social Media Coordinators, Digital Marketing, and Product Management

Content Marketing

Responsible for creating necessary brief material for products and brand marketing campaigns, participating with content and creative development, and executing comprehensive media campaigns across multiple platforms.

Project Management

Responsible for tracking multiple projects and reporting on project status, assisting with marketing work-back schedules, critical paths, and media schedules, and ensuring proper deadlines are provided and efficiently communicated.

Retail Marketing

Assist with executing deliverables for key retail roll-outs, assist with execution of retail point of purchase deliverables and documentation, and ensure accuracy of messaging, specifications, and branding.

Requirements

University business or marketing undergraduate degree, strong English writing skills, strong project management skills, and highly organized and detail-oriented. Proven experience creating and executing product launches, experience in consumer electronics is considered an asset, and experience in both direct to consumer (B2C) and business to business (B2B) marketing is an asset.
