Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Miller Paving Limited. As a Heavy Equipment Operator, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment such as loaders, graders, and excavators to perform various tasks related to road construction and maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to complete tasks on time and within budget.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications to understand project requirements.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and a focus on safety.
Requirements:
  • Valid driver's license and willingness to travel regularly.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
