About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Truck Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Bamrah Truck Repair Inc. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our truck-trailer systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Tool Management: Move tools, equipment, and other materials as needed to support maintenance activities.
  • Survey Support: Hold stakes during surveying activities to ensure accurate measurements.
  • Safety Procedures: Signal safety procedures to other workers and the general public to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Support to Tradespersons: Assist tradespersons, apprentices, and other workers as directed to ensure efficient completion of tasks.
  • Cleanliness: Clean machines and immediate work areas to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
  • Customer Service: Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Unit Testing: Test and adjust units to specifications to ensure optimal performance.
  • Repair and Maintenance: Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of truck-trailer systems to maintain vehicle reliability.
  • Communication: Discuss work with supervisor to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
Work Environment

This is a permanent position with a 35-40 hour workweek in a fast-paced maintenance environment. The work language is English.
