Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team at Enviri Corporation. As a critical member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance and safety of our heavy equipment fleet.

Compensation

As a Heavy Equipment Mechanic with Enviri Corporation, you can expect a competitive salary of $47.85 per hour for Heavy Equipment work and $40.15 per hour for Truck and Coach work. Additionally, you will receive guaranteed raises, a $500 tool allowance paid annually, and eligibility for overtime pay after 40 hours.

Job Responsibilities

The primary responsibility of this role is to support our maintenance activities in the shop, including:

  • Diagnosing and repairing equipment failures/issues
  • Servicing equipment such as changing fluids, filters, etc.
  • Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
  • Assisting in general site-related maintenance activities

You will be an experienced professional with a strong background in repairing large, off-road construction type equipment in an industrial environment. Your ability to complete diagnostics, troubleshoot, and repair heavy off-road equipment such as loaders, material handlers, trucks, and cranes will be invaluable to our team.

Requirements and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Experience repairing large, off-road construction type equipment in an industrial environment
  • Able to complete diagnostics, troubleshoot, and repair heavy off-road equipment
  • Knowledge and experience with diesel and gasoline engines, hydraulic systems, and/or electronics preferred
  • Welding and fabrication skills are a plus
  • Ability to understand technical manuals, illustrations, specifications, diagrams, schematics, and similar guides to make repairs and modifications according to OEM specifications and procedures

You will be required to hold the following certifications:

  • 421A
  • 310T
