About the Role:
Athabasca Catering is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lodge Manager to oversee and manage all departments at our site. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring site operations meet client contracts, federal and provincial laws, and industry regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all departments to ensure site operations meet client contracts, federal and provincial laws, and industry regulations.
- Monitor and manage site department budgets to meet ACLP monthly budgetary expectations.
- Ensure adequate staffing levels and maintain department work schedules and flight manifests.
- Provide final approval on time sheets submitted to head office.
- Ensure safety functions at site are consistent with established company policies and programs.
Requirements:
- Down-to-earth and approachable management professional with experience in management in a service industry.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's License with a satisfactory driving record and current Safe Food Handling certificates.
- Good knowledge of applicable federal and provincial laws, industry regulations, Occupational Health and Safety, and union agreements.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, analyze, interpret financial data; manage budgets and programs.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and database programs, as well as time management skills.
