About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Analyst to join our team at FortisBC. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for performing a variety of financial activities, including cost accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Collaborate with business leaders and managers to develop and implement financial strategies.
  • Prepare and present financial reports and presentations to stakeholders.
  • Provide training and support to operational groups on financial systems and procedures.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or a related field from an accredited post-secondary institution.
  • Three years of directly related experience in financial operations, cost accounting, or budgeting.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong knowledge of financial systems, policies, and procedures.
