Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Specialist to join our team at Oram's Bethesda Manor. This is a permanent, full-time position with an estimated salary of $35,000 - $45,000 per year.

About the Role

As a Personal Care Specialist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional personal care and support to our residents. Your duties will include administering medications, assisting with bathing and other aspects of personal hygiene, and providing companionship.

Responsibilities
  • Administer bedside and personal care to residents
  • Administer medications as prescribed by physicians
  • Assist clients with bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Assist in regular exercise, such as walking
  • Collect specimens as required
  • Feed or assist in feeding residents
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to residents
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1-2 years of experience in personal care or a related field
Work Environment

This role requires a combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the day. You must be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects as needed.
