Job Title: Developmental Service Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a Developmental Service Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily lives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with intellectual disabilities in their daily routines, including personal care, meal preparation, and household tasks.
  • Assist with transportation and accompaniment to appointments and activities.
  • Develop and implement individualized support plans to promote independence and community inclusion.
  • Collaborate with other support staff and community agencies to ensure comprehensive support services.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., developmental services, social work, psychology).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities, preferably in a community-based setting.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) certification.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
