Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Developmental Service Worker to join our team at Community Living Trent Highlands. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with intellectual disabilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support and care to clients with intellectual disabilities in a group home setting.
  • Assist with daily living activities, such as personal care, meal preparation, and household chores.
  • Develop and implement personalized support plans to promote client independence and well-being.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and support.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • College diploma or equivalent in a related field (e.g., developmental services, social work, or a related field).
  • Experience working with individuals with intellectual disabilities is an asset.
  • Non-violent Crisis Intervention (NVCI) Certificate and First Aid Certificate are required.
  • Criminal record check, driver's validity licence check, driving record check (abstract), and vulnerable sector check are mandatory.
