Ardi Renovation Ltd. is seeking an experienced Drywall Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing and finishing drywall in various settings.

About the Role
  • We are looking for a skilled Drywall Specialist with 2 years of experience in the trade.
  • You will work independently and as part of a team to install metal corner beads, fill joints, and measure, cut, and install drywall sheets.
  • As a Drywall Specialist, you will also be responsible for reading and interpreting blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and prepare surfaces for installation.
  • Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
  • Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using a trowel and broad knife.
  • Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
  • Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
  • Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.
  • Install acoustic tile, hangers for suspended ceilings, and metal studs for composition wallboard or lath.
  • Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings, using hand and power tools.
  • Install vapour barriers and thermal and sound insulation.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • This role requires physical stamina, flexibility, and attention to detail.
Personal Suitability
  • We are looking for someone who can work independently and as part of a team.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
