Job Description

At Informa Connect of Informa PLC, we are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work on the Amplero Personalization Platform, a cutting-edge technology that dynamically identifies the right tone, message components, and channel preferences to improve marketing performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in daily standups, sprint grooming, and effort estimation to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Provide business hours production support as part of an on-call rotation to guarantee continuous operation.
  • Proactively implement best practices for code development, scaling, and performance testing to maintain high-quality standards.
  • Effectively communicate complex implications and findings of work to technical peers and leaders within the team.
  • Develop strong expertise in both Java and Scala programming languages and possess a willingness to master both.
  • Utilize working knowledge of SQL to efficiently manage and analyze data.
  • Demonstrate proficiency in core data structures and algorithms to drive efficient software development.
Technical Requirements
  • Big Data ETL experience using Scala/Python/Java/SQL technologies.
  • Proficiency in Spark on Databricks for large-scale data processing.
  • Web Application REST API development skills using Java, Spring Boot, and SQL.
  • Familiarity with Flyway, Spock & Groovy for web application development.
  • Experience with Web Application UI development using Angular, CSS/HTML, JSON, amCharts, Cypress testing framework, and Tableau integration.
  • Knowledge of micro-frontend architecture and reusable product UI components.
