Warehouse Operations Associate

Job Summary:
Plasman is seeking a highly skilled Material Handler to join our team at our Windsor, ON location. As a Material Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing process by supplying production materials and assisting the Production Supervisor as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport materials, components, and packaging to meet production requirements and assist with auxiliary equipment as necessary.
- Construct packaging materials as required for manufacturing.
- Remove materials and packaging after production runs have been completed.
- Ensure all job-specific items are clearly identified.
- Ensure the forklift is in good mechanical condition for safe operation, including completion of daily checklists.
- Maintain timely delivery and orderly storage of packaging and components.
- Provide additional assistance to other workers when time is available or requested by the Production Supervisor.
- Maintain skid counts as required.
- Promote a team-oriented atmosphere at all times.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Work in compliance with the Quality and Business Operating Systems and all health and safety and environmental legislation.
- Complete any other duties as assigned.
- Adhere to the Company Value Statement and the Company Standard Code of Conduct.
Requirements:
- Must possess a secondary school diploma or equivalent, with preference given to those who have completed some or all of a College-level program.
- Must have at least 1-5 years of experience in materials, with preference given to those who have experience specific to plastic injection molding and/or assembly in an automotive manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform well in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to build effective working relationships with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
