We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at 3102830 Nova Scotia Ltd. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of goods.
Key Responsibilities- Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick and pack orders, and ensure accurate and timely shipment of goods.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory checks to ensure accuracy and report any discrepancies to management.
- Material Handling: Operate basic material handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move products and materials throughout the warehouse.
- Quality Control: Inspect products and materials for damage or defects, and report any issues to management.
- Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this position.
- Work Experience: Will train on the job.
- Language: English is the primary language spoken in the workplace.
- Work Schedule: 8 to 40 hours per week, with flexibility to work varying shifts.
This is a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks, and the ability to work under pressure is essential. The successful candidate will be required to stand for extended periods, bend, crouch, and kneel, and lift weights over 45 kg (100 lbs).
