About the Role

As a Senior Manager, Insurance Internal Audit at Royal Bank of Canada (RBC), you will play a critical role in supporting the Director, Insurance Internal Audit, to provide independent risk assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of internal control, corporate governance processes, and risk management practices within RBC Insurance.

You will work closely with management to achieve business objectives by creating solutions that improve business operations while maintaining an objective and independent stance. Your results will benefit shareholders, employees, and customers alike.

The RBC Chief Audit Executive (CAE) Group leverages a unique perspective, with a coordinated view across the entire business, to deliver valuable advice that not only gives assurance but also illuminates a bigger picture, connects dots, builds best practices, and broadens possibilities.

About You

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional with a strong background in insurance and financial services, preferably with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in auditing principles and techniques. You must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and senior stakeholders.

In addition to your technical expertise, you should have a demonstrated ability to work in a dynamically changing environment and be proficient in using tools such as Tableau/PowerPoint for executive dashboards and presentations.

Your domain knowledge and capacity to research innovative concepts, including Emerging Financial Risk, Data Automation, and Visualization, will be essential in this role.

Job Details

This is a full-time position located in Toronto, Ontario, with an estimated salary range of $120,000 - $180,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
