Drive Cost Controllership and Deliver Results

We are seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to be the trusted finance partner for multiple fulfillment centers at Amazon. This role will drive cost controllership, provide business insights, and partner closely with Finance and Business leaders in Operations, Process Engineering, and other teams.

About the Role

In this role, you will:

  • Utilize solid financial knowledge and business acumen to build financial models, interpret data, draw conclusions, and make recommendations that deliver results and influence leaders throughout Amazon.
  • Deliver weekly/monthly financial close, planning, forecasting, budgeting, and consolidations utilizing financial systems and advanced Excel functions.
  • Create effective business partnerships, manage competing priorities, and provide guidance during unexpected events.
  • Intuitively utilize active listening skills to communicate data (both written and verbal) in a clear, concise, and unambiguous manner, adjusting your style based on audience, to articulate complex finance issues.
  • Collect and analyze quantitative data to develop relevant reports leading to cost reductions.
  • Proactively identify opportunities to resolve finance defects and improve, scale, or simplify finance tools across teams and organizations.

Key requirements include a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, as well as 3+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience. An MBA or CPA is preferred. Experience applying key financial performance indicators (KPIs) to analyses is also desired.
