Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing electrical and electronic systems and equipment. This includes preparing material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications, as well as investigating electrical or electronic failures and commissioning systems and components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop electrical and electronic components, systems, and equipment
  • Prepare material cost and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications
  • Investigate electrical or electronic failures and commission systems and components
  • Develop maintenance and operating standards for electrical and electronic systems and equipment
  • Set up and operate specialized and standard test equipment to diagnose, test, and analyze the performance of electrical and electronic components, assemblies, and systems
Requirements:
  • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in the field
  • College/CEGEP or equivalent experience
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to distinguish between colors
