About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Project Manager to join our team at EightSix Network. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading automation projects from conception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough bids for automation projects, evaluating associated costs and developing comprehensive project plans
  • Plan and manage manpower and equipment requirements, ensuring optimal resource allocation
  • Monitor project progress, identifying and mitigating potential risks and issues
  • Supervise and mentor teams, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies
  • Configure and test equipment, ensuring proper start-up and commissioning
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and achieve business objectives

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar project management role
  • Bachelor's degree in automated production engineering, electrical engineering, or a related field
  • Proven experience in electricity and industrial automation, with a strong understanding of PLC programming
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer-aided design (CAD) software
  • Bilingual in French and English, with a strong understanding of both languages
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
