Drive Growth and Profitability in Personal Insurance

A leading insurance organization seeks a dynamic Director of Personal Lines to drive growth and profitability in the personal insurance business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement plans to drive growth and profitability within the personal lines division.
  • Product Development: Conduct market research, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and bring new products to market.
  • Underwriting Guidelines and Training: Develop, maintain, and update underwriting guidelines to ensure they reflect current market conditions and regulatory requirements.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Oversee underwriting policies, monitor performance metrics, and stay updated on regulatory changes.
  • Financial Performance & Reporting: Monitor financial performance metrics, including premium growth, claims trends, loss ratios, and expense ratios.
  • Technology Planning & Integration: Collaborate with technology teams to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of existing sales technology platforms and tools.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree: Business, finance, insurance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 years in a related industry, with previous experience in a leadership position.
  • Skills: Deep understanding of personal insurance products, underwriting principles, and risk management practices.
  • Leadership: Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans to drive business growth and profitability.
  • Communication: Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment: Demonstrated commitment to compliance, ethics, and professional integrity.
