Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team at Dufferin Aggregates - A CRH Company. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment used in construction and surface mining.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test and repair mobile equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturers' specifications.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions to determine required repairs, using engine diagnostic equipment.
  • Perform routine maintenance work on equipment and vehicles, including cleaning, lubricating, and inspecting parts.
  • Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
  • Assemble and align gear systems, fit bearings, and weld or solder broken parts.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma
  • Truck and Coach Technician - 310T License or Heavy Equipment Technician
  • 1-3 years of related experience with personal hand tools
  • Proficiency with MS Office
  • SAP experience an asset
  • Strong communication and analytical skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure
