Job Title: Truck Mechanic - Heavy Equipment Repair

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Truck Mechanic to join our team at Davidson Contract Services. As a Truck Mechanic, you will be responsible for repairing and maintaining commercial transport trucks, ensuring they are in good working condition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions
  • Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
  • Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
  • Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
  • Perform scheduled maintenance service

Requirements:

  • Truck and Transport Mechanic Trade Certification
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience
  • Other trades certificate or diploma
