Job Title: Executive Chef Assistant

DEVONWOOD ENTERPRISES LTD is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen operations, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Determine food portion sizes and costs
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas
  • Train staff in food preparation and handling
  • Order supplies and equipment
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas
  • Recruit and hire staff
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Excellent oral communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Physical stamina to handle heavy loads and repetitive tasks
