We are seeking a skilled Laborer and Painter to join our team at ANDRITZ's Refiner Service Center. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our clients in the pulp and paper industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform assembly work on pulp and paper equipment, ensuring high-quality results and meeting production deadlines.
  • Prepare parts for painting, adhering to strict quality control standards.
  • Operate an airless paint sprayer to apply coatings to equipment and machinery.
  • Assist machine builders in the assembly and installation of equipment.
  • Tape holes and deburr parts to ensure smooth finishes and prevent damage.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management, including special projects and tasks.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in painting and assembly work, preferably in an industrial setting.
  • Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and materials.
