The successful candidate will be licensed by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS) or eligible for licensure. They will also be required to have Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) coverage and be eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC).
Responsibilities- Provide hospital coverage, including on-call shifts
- Participate in office coverage where indicated
- Receive payment for locum coverage, including a minimum daily income guarantee and additional subsidy
- Full-time position with on-call requirements
- Eligible for licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Nova Scotia (CPSNS)
- Canadian Medical Protective Association (CMPA) coverage
- Eligible for certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC)
- Internal Medicine with Gastroenterology subspecialty or special interest preferred
