Job Title: Youth Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to join our team at Coast Mental Health. As a Youth Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting youth and young adults aged 17-24 who are experiencing mental health challenges, trauma, and other barriers to success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Connect with youth who are not accessing services and provide support to help them access community resources.
  • Work collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure youth receive comprehensive support.
  • Develop and implement individualized life skills programs to help youth achieve their goals.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to youth in need.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop and implement program policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Child and Youth Care or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Recent experience working with youth and young adults in a mental health or social services setting.
  • Ability to provide or obtain required certifications and training.
