Position Overview

Join Island Recruiting as a Logistics Coordinator in a dynamic and fast-paced environment. This permanent role offers a flexible work schedule ranging from 30 to 48 hours per week.

Key Responsibilities
  • Distribution Management: Organize and oversee the distribution of products.
  • Transportation Coordination: Arrange transportation methods for goods.
  • Documentation: Prepare essential shipping documents including bills of lading and invoices.
  • Quality Control: Inspect incoming shipments to ensure accuracy against invoices.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain an organized internal record-keeping system.
  • Inventory Management: Document shortages and manage damaged goods.
  • Packing and Unpacking: Efficiently pack goods for shipment and unpack received items.
  • Financial Transactions: Handle payments for goods received.
Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7 months in a similar role.
  • Training: Working at heights training is required.
Technical Skills
  • Software Proficiency: Familiarity with spreadsheet applications, MS Excel, and MS Word.
  • Equipment Handling: Experience with dollies, hand trucks, industrial lift trucks, and scanners.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg or 50 lbs).
  • Capable of performing repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
  • Must be comfortable with bending, crouching, and kneeling.
