Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled High Risk Protection Specialist to join our team at Paladin Security. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular patrols and surveillance of client facilities, providing access control as needed, and responding to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner.

About the Role

This is a critical position that requires strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a high level of professionalism. As a High Risk Protection Specialist, you will work closely with first responders and other security personnel to ensure the safety and security of our clients and their assets.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Conduct regular patrols and surveillance of all client facilities, identifying potential security risks and taking proactive measures to mitigate them.
  2. Respond to alarms and emergencies in a timely manner, using sound judgment and discretion to make quick decisions that prioritize the safety of everyone involved.
  3. Work closely with first responders and other security personnel to coordinate responses to incidents and ensure a unified approach to securing the scene.
  4. Maintain accurate records of all incidents, including detailed reports and incident summaries.
  5. Develop and maintain positive relationships with clients, stakeholders, and other security professionals to promote a culture of collaboration and trust.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, applying new knowledge and techniques to improve our security protocols and procedures.

Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the security industry, preferably with a focus on high-risk protection and emergency response.
  • A valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and a clean driving abstract.
  • Availability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with diverse stakeholders.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant field such as Criminology, Law Enforcement, or Security Studies is an asset.
