Job Summary

At Royal Bank of Canada, we are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as an Associate. This role will provide exceptional client service and support to our clients and Advisor team, helping to deepen existing relationships and welcome new clients to the firm.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain existing client accounts and identify opportunities to contact clients, ensuring timely and accurate account administration and documentation.
  • Respond to client inquiries in a professional and time-efficient manner, providing proactive client service and resolving issues in a collaborative and effective manner.
  • Effectively manage incoming communications from clients, Advisors, and other internal and external partners, ensuring seamless and timely solutions.
  • Assist the Advisor team in welcoming and onboarding new clients, leveraging your passion for planning to coordinate and prepare meetings for Advisors with their clients/prospects.
  • Become well-versed in internal controls and industry regulatory requirements, ensuring client files and other necessary documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and compliant.
  • Draw on your social media skills to update the team's communication channels, including websites, LinkedIn, Facebook, brochures, and newsletters.
  • Follow up on client trades to ensure proper settlement and delivery.
  • Support the Advisor team and client through the Wealth Management process and maintain an audit of Wealth Management Activities and priorities.
Requirements
  • Candidate must have Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Course (CPH) certifications.
  • Strong skills working with business applications/technology, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • High-quality time management and organization skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing world-class client service that will come across as professional, warm, and friendly to our clients.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
